The Forza Touring Car Championship (FTCC) is the flagship series run by the FRS team. The championship is contested primarily by hatchback or saloon cars, built roughly to FIA S2000 touring car specifications, with restrictions on drivetrain, engine displacement and modifications, and grip provided by slick tyres and Forza spec aerodynamic kits.
The series consists of 36 races held across 12 event weeks, run across successive Thursdays.
Each meeting consists of 3 races, with 2 of them held in dual lobbies. The 3rd race is dubbed the Superfinal & is contested between the top 8 from each lobby.
The FTCC generally visits small to medium sized circuits, trying to avoid longer tracks.
